There are four main programs.
They are:

• The Sony Reader Library Software for reading .epub format books
• Amazon Kindle for PC for reading .mobi or .azw format books
• Mobipocket Reader Desktop for multiple formats and hand-held devices
• Adobe Digital Editions for reading and managing PDF and ePub format books with copyright protection

Sony Reader Library.

First you need to download the software from the Sony web site and install it on your PC or Mac.

Once this is done you can start downloading ebooks. To get started, try downloading our free copy of Hans Christian Andersen's "Snow Queen" with original cover illustration by Carmen Offermann. To do this just click here. If you installed the Sony Reader Library correctly the book should open in the Sony software and you will be able to read it.

Amazon Kindle for PC.

First you need to download the software from the Amazon web site and install it on your PC (Mac coming soon).

Once this is done you can start downloading ebooks. To get started, try downloading our free copy of Hans Christian Andersen's "Snow Queen" with original cover illustration by Carmen Offermann. To do this just click here. If you installed the Kindle for PC correctly the book should open in the Kindle software and you will be able to read it.

Mobipocket Reader Desktop.

First you need to download the software from the Mobipocket web site and install it on your PC, Mac or Linux box.
